In spring of 1974, a small film began shooting mostly on location in Martha\'s Vineyard, an island in the north east of the USA. It was being shot by a young, relatively unknown director called Steven Spielberg, but would become one of the biggest movies, called \"Jaws\".
As it was shot using the island and the surrounding sea for the location, many of the locals were employed as extras or crew or to help with the effects. This book is the story of the making of the film told mainly from the point of view of the locals involved with it.
