He studied Confucianism under Inoue Kin\'e and established a private school at a young age. Known for his poetry, calligraphy, and scholarly pursuits, he dedicated his life to teaching classical texts in the downtown area, opposing the banned heterodox schools during the Kansei era, and was recognized as one of the five \"Evil Ghosts\" of heterodox learning. He passed away in 1826 at age 75.
