A beautiful piece of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) manufactured by the Jefferson Glass Company, circa 1902. This four-footed ruffled bowl is featured in the highly sought-after "Beaded Drapes" pattern.
It boasts a gorgeous Canary Yellow/Vaseline glass base body that transitions into a fiery opalescent, crimped edge tipped with a delicate pink cranberry candy/frit trim.
This piece contains uranium dioxide and glows a brilliant, vibrant neon green under standard 365nm and 395nm UV blacklights. It makes a stunning addition to any glowing cabinet display.
There is a distinct, smooth conchoidal flake chip along the upper rim (please see the final close-up photo). Outside of this rim chip, the bowl has excellent opalescence, no hidden hairline cracks down the body, and the four flame-edge feet are intact.
Please see pictures as part of description.
