Large Rare Staffordshire MASONIC Polychrome + Gilt Transfer Pitcher, Staffordshire, England, c. 1840 - 1875. This is a rare and large white ironstone pitcher that has a very attractive polychrome transfer scene with gilt trim and lettering. The transfer on one side is a Native American and a Knight both holding weapons and a shield. On the second side is the Masonic compass symbol in a large gilt design. On the front in gilt letters it has information on different Masonic lodges with dates of their openings. This includes lodges in both England and the America\'s. The gilt writing is worn so it is difficult to read. There is an impressed, \"W\" on the bottom of the jug ot pitcher.Extremely rare and possibly unique, large Masonic pitcher is offered here with and a \"Buy It Now\".DIMENSIONS: The pitcher is approximately 11 3/4\" H. x 6 5/8\" W. x 8 1/8\" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle.
