Kogan Kondrashin USSR pressing
The disc has at least one small superficial scuff on the second side otherwise no scuffs or scratches and certainly no deep scratches skipping or warping. The cover is hard to grade as it was clearly custom hand made in the USSR. There is roughness on the edges and corners. No foxing throughout. The inner sleeve has creasing and a yellow stain inside of the poly wrapped paper, again, clearly handmade in the USSR.
This was reissued often in non western countries and is a great recording of Leonid Kogan but this was an early pressing from 1958. This particular copy is shipping from the states. Sometimes stories of records like this are amazing. I can imagine someone sneaking their favorite USSR record into the united states as comfort during times like the red scare. Amazing recording in very nice shape. (Very close to near mint on the disc!)
