This sale is for a Lionel postwar 2341 FM locomotive with box. This desirable FM locomotive is in VG condition. Locomotive show paint defects and heavy play and use. Both screw holes have hairline cracks common to these locos. The blue band on one side is faded. It was probably stored on a shelf facing a window. No broken or missing parts. Battery box is pretty clean. Looks like there might have been a battery leak at some point but no major damage.
The box has all flaps and the liner is present. It has a water stain. I do not believe the box is original but I can’t be sure. Please take a look at the photos.
Locomotive runs very well on F/N/R and lights work. Horn is untested.
