These 3 Klumpe dolls are vintage, handmade Spanish felt and cloth character figurines produced primarily during the 1950s and 1960s in Barcelona and Madrid.
Crafted from cloth and felt wrapped over flexible wire armatures, the construction allows the limbs to be gently posed. They feature painted facial features and mohair wigs. And what facial expressions! All 3 have original tags and carry accessories.
Each measures between 11 and 12 inches in height. In used condition. I did not attempt to clean. Part of old doll collection displayed for decades without protection and has dust, etc. Watering can in gardener’s hand has worn felt, as does bellhop’s handbag.
