This is a cohesive lot of seven (7) vintage U.S. First Day Covers (FDCs)dating from 1940 to 1959. All 7 are uncacheted and feature their original commemorative stamps postmarked with official \"First Day of Issue\" cancellations.
Every cover in this mini collection is addressed to the exact same person, Miss Williamette Kiddoo of Huntington Park, California.
The lot includes covers celebrating prominent historical milestones, landmarks, and famous historical figures including Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln\'s Mt. Rushmore, Fort Duquesne, Stephen Foster, Booker T. Washington, Noah Webster, and more.
Each FDC is in good mid-century vintage condition with some showing some signs of wear and discoloration due to age. They ARE 70-80 years old. Please see photos for exact condition, details of stamps and envelope edges.
