These monitors were previously owned by a State Emergency Response Agency. They were professionally sent to Ludlum once per year for calibration to ensure readiness in the event of a radiation emergency.
The units are only a few years old, and many appear to have seen little or no field use.
Please note that the battery compartment screws may show minor scratches or dings, which occurred during routine calibration and battery installation/removal.
The last calibration by Ludlum was completed in 2023 (please see picture #2). As with most radiation detection equipment, recalibration in one year.Calibration instructions are included in the manual, or the unit can be sent to any certified radiation instrument calibration service.
