Mortal. The Dark Variant has a complicated relationship with Mister Sinister. Professional respect. Mild irritation. A shared appreciation for hubris. And now, foil.
Secret Lair x Marvel: Dan Hipp, Foil Edition — five cards from A Perfectly Normal Superdrop (August 2026), each drawn in Hipp\'s bold, chunky, cartoon-comic style. Doctor Strange bends a counterspell. The X-Men train. An offer is made that cannot be refused. And two Marvel villains take the field under their own names: Mister Sinister and Man-Thing, reskinned onto cards that actually see play.
The Dark Variant does not usually approve of anything this cheerful-looking. But Hipp draws villains like he means it. Exception granted.
Contents of the tribute:
- 1x Foil Mystical Dispute
- 1x Foil An Offer You Can\'t Refuse
- 1x Foil Training Grounds
- 1x Foil Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder as \"Mister Sinister, Hubris Unbound\"
- 1x Foil Bristly Bill, Spine Sower as \"Man-Thing, Marsh Protector\"
The two reskins are mechanical reprints — the original card name is printed beneath each title, so they are fully legal at any table where such trifles are debated.
