Thrill to Exceptional Performance from Your CDs

Improving upon the successful Marantz CD6006 CD player, thefinely-tuned CD6007 offers even more specially-selected components and anenhanced circuit layout. Rigid feet further eliminate unwanted vibration whilethe oversized low noise power supply feeds the digital and analog circuitry ofthe player. Engineered and extensively tuned by a team drawing on more than 65years of hi-fi expertise, the CD6007 provides exceptional performance for youraudio collection. Enjoy the most musical sound from any source, whether digitalor analog.

Premier ES9010K2M 32-bit DAC

The ES9010K2M SABRE® Premier 32-bit DAC along with twoselectable filter options converts digital signals to analog, this is then‘pushed’ to the gold-plated synch outputs by Marantz’s proprietary small signalamplifier, the HDAM-SA2. In addition, Marantz includes a new remote that alsocontrols the PM6007 amplifier. The CD6007 also features a newly developed, complex headphone amplifier with a headphone amp gain setting to accommodate awide range of headphones.

Marantz HDAM Technology

Marantz developed its own discrete circuit boards to replacestandard ICs. These HDAMs consist of discrete surface mount components withshort mirror image L/R signal paths. These devices do exactly the same thing asthe Op-Amps but outperform the regular IC Op-amps dramatically in terms of theSlew Rate and reduced noise level, resulting in more dynamic, accurate anddetailed sound.

In the CD6007, the proprietary HDAM-SA2 circuit improves onits previous HDAM module for a more stable power supply. The idling currentstability is less influenced by power transistor temperatures to maintain soundperformance even at high level output.

Reference Quality D/A Conversion

The CD6007 features a new Hi-Res D/A conversion. It isequipped with an ES9010K2M SABRE® Premier 32-bit DAC, offering two selectablefilter options, and provides up to 192-kHz/24-bit and DSD 5.6MHz resolution foroptimum musical fidelity with tight bass, pleasant mids and smooth extendedhighs for CD playback and hi-res formats from USB flash drives.

High Current Power Supply

The audio power supply employs high speed, high currentShottky Barrier Diodes and new higher value current storage capacitors comparedto the previous model. The size of the power supply capacitors has beenincreased by 120% for improved current stability and reduced AC noise duringhigh demanding listening sessions.

HDAM-SA2 Headphone Amplifier with Headphone Amp GainSetting

Compared to the CD6006, the CD6007 offers an improved andredesigned headphone amplifier section. The CD6007 inherits the exclusiveMarantz HDAM-SA2 circuit with three gain settings (Low/Mid/High) for a perfectmatch with almost any brand of headphones for an optimal solo listeningexperience. However, if you prefer, the headphone amp is also equipped with an“Off Circuit” function that automatically turns off the headphone amplifierwhen a headphone is not connected to the unit to avoid any unwanted interferenceor noise.

Plays Hi-Res Audio USB Sources

The CD6007 can playback MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD,ALAC, AIFF (up to 192-kHz/24-bit) and DSD (up to 5.6-MHz) files from aconnected USB storage device.

Selectable Digital Filter Option

The CD6007 introduces a new selectable digital filteroption. This two-mode filter (Filter1/Filter2) allows optimized reproduction ofdigital music content to your taste. Filter 1 is a slow roll-off preset thatimproves deep stereo imaging while Filter 2 is a sharp roll-off filter for moreprecise imaging reproduction.
