This is a pair of vintage size 7 Italian Capretto Lavabile (kid)suede tan elbow-length gloves owned by Marilyn Monroe.
These gloves were sold at the Christie\'s 1999 Sale as part of Lot 107. The other 4 pair were later reconsigned by Biond Fury to Julien\'s for their 2005 Marilyn Monroe sale. He kept this pair. They were in a bag with the preview, the catalog and the ticket for Thursday October 28, 1999 lots 100-576.

These items are fresh from a NC storage locker that belonged to Biond Fury (aka William Tuttle Jr). The locker is full of Hollywood & Entertainment Art and Ephemera. Fury\'s story will lead you down quite the internet rabbit hole.
He was born and raised in NC and after graduating Duke he moved to NYC changed his name, proclaimed himself a psychic and became host of a public access television show. He also started a record label and a band called Black Limousine.
Fury became the longtime companion of artist Jaques Lipchitz widow, Yulla Lipchitz, who was also a famous Sculpture, Artist and Photograher in her own right. With Yulla\'s financial help he became a mover and shaker within the pop culture and entertainment collectibles circles.
Biond Fury was a frequent customer and consigner with Christie\'s, Sotheby\'s and Julien\'s sales. He owned several of the Beatles automobiles, John Lennon\'s suit and was a massive collector of Marilyn Monroe items and memorabilia.
He also was a defendant in several high-profile lawsuits involving ownership of art and memorabilia.
