Up for sale is an incredibly rare, oversized, full-sized bench stone (Hongo) sourced from Kyoto, Japan. This is a massive collector-tier stone featuring prominent, crisp traditional stamps including the formal 正本山 (Shōhonyama) name stamp on the left, and the 天然 (Natural) / 京都特産 (Kyoto Special Product) leaf emblem on the top right.Unlike typical irregular offcuts, this stone features a sprawling, perfectly rectangular 5" x 6" working surface, making it exceptionally stable for wide woodworking tools, plane blades, and high-end kitchen cutlery.
