Matching Pair Famille Verte Porcelain Immortals 8\" w/Stands Republic Period VGC For Sale

Offered is this factory-matched pair of vintage Chinese export porcelain figurines each 7\" high. The characters are a traditional Court Lady/Immortal and a male Scholar/Immortal, both finely molded and standing atop matching, highly stylized seafoam-green ocean waves. Markings on the unglazed bases suggest early to mid 20th century Chinese export porcelain likely dating from the Republic Period (1912-1949). The famille rose verte palette is dominated by sea greens, pinks and blues with rich enameling and flowing designs. Solid rosewood stands are included which add about an inch in height making the overall statue/stand height about 8\". The condition is very good with no cracks or repairs. There are some rough areas and small chips to the wave edges that do not distract from the shape or design. These will be carefully packed and shipped with full value insurance.
