Mego Wonder Woman 12\" doll figure rare 2nd issue Fly Away Action - MIB For Sale

Mego was the top company in the 1970’s. Super Heroes were a staple of their brand portfolio and they produced a variety of 8” and 12” figures based on DC and Marvel characters. A 12” Wonder Woman was one of the most long lasting figures in the line. There were three versions: the first issue with a painted eagle bustier produced during the height of the popularity of the TV series. There was a second issue that changed the costume to a one-piece all fabric version, and a third version of that same figure, but with the added fly-away-action mechanism. During the production of the second and third issues, the doll changed from a normal skin tone to a darker skin tone, so they could used leftover Cher doll bodies. The Diana Prince clothes also changed slightly throughout production. The most rare version and hardest to find by far, was the 2nd issue lighter complexion version with the fly-away-action. That’s the one we have here and now’s your chance to add her to your collection. Wonder Woman is 12.5” tall all vinyl and fully jointed. She has rooted black hair and painted blue eyes with attached lashes. She wears her one-piece fabric costume with tiara, red vinyl boots, silver bracelets and golden lasso. Her Diana Prince clothes include a white halter neck jumpsuit and a blue knee length wrap dress and white shoes. The mego melt on her shoulders is minimal and a stand is also included. She has never been removed from the box and all accessories are still sealed. The box has some slight edge wear, and top corner creases. The window has come loose a little on the upper right. This doll has been stored away from dust and light in a smoke-free environment since purchase. The only issue the doll has - which is typical of many items from the 70’s - is a slight smoke smell. It was like that when I purchased it. That’s why I have her listed at such a good price. Without that, this figure would be worth close to 700.00 or more.
