In Gangster Love, Ollie Capone trades the Chicago streets and custom chopper for a more intimate encounter with his glamorous strawberry companion.
Ollie is dressed for the occasion in his classic pinstripe gangster suit and fedora, cigar in hand, standing confidently atop a pile of cash. His strawberry companion, dressed in a dramatic red outfit with feathered accents, leans in close—although the pistol in her hand suggests that romance in Ollie\'s world can still be a little dangerous.
Against the deep black background, the brilliant reds, greens and whites jump from the canvas, while Godard\'s curling cigar smoke adds movement and atmosphere to the scene.
It\'s romance, money, danger and a little mobster mischief—all served with Godard\'s unmistakable sense of humor.
