My father worked at the Hotel Roosevelt in the 1950's and 1960's. He personally obtained this autograph from Mickey Mantle when he was at the hotel having dinner. I was 10 years old in 1961 when my father came home with this memorable autograph for me.
This autograph is truly unique. It was signed by Mantle on Hotel Roosevelt note pad paper. The note paper is a true yellow color, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, and has the Hotel Roosevelt name, address and phone number printed on it.
The Hotel Roosevelt is now part of New York history along with Mickey Mantle. This is truly a one of a kind original. It has been solely in my possession since it was signed in 1961.
The autograph and Hotel Roosevelt paper are in very fine to excellent condition having been preserved with great care.
This is one of the best Mickey Mantle autographs anywhere. It's true value is far greater than the posted price.
