Jensen Transformers JT-115K-E Microphone Input Transformer

Legendary for their sonic transparency, Jensen mic input transformers use internal Faraday shielding to virtually eliminate hum, buzz, and RF interference. The JT-115K-E is enclosed in a MuMETAL® magnetically shielded can to reduce hum caused by nearby magnetic fields.

Featuring a 1:10 step-up turns ratio, this transformer is designed to optimize input stage noise performance. All Jensen Transformers offer extended low-frequency and Bessel-tailored high-frequency responses, which results in the ultra-low time-domain distortion (DLP) that only Jensen offers. Insertion loss is minimal and adding phantom power is simple.

This model can be mounted with the included angle bracket hardware. Also available in PCB mounting style as JT-115K-EPC.

1:10 STEP-UP FOR HIGH IMPEDANCE AMPLIFIERS

• Ideal for FET or vacuum tube input amplifiers
• Wide bandwidth: -3 dB at 2.5 Hz and 90 kHz
• 20 dB of voltage gain with Noise Figure of only 1.5 dB
• Input impedance of 1.4 kO for loading loss of 0.9 dB
• High common-mode rejection: 110 dB at 60 Hz

This transformer is designed for highest practical step-up ratio. Its secondary source impedance makes it ideal for use with low noise FET or vacuum tube input amplifiers. The primary is fully balanced and its leads may be
reversed to invert polarity, if required. A 30 dB magnetic shield package is standard.

Warranty Manufacturer's Warranty Statement

For a period of 1 YEAR after purchase, Jensen Transformers, Inc. will, free of charge, repair or replace any part of an ISOMAX® product that fails due to defective materials or workmanship.

For a period of 20 YEARS after purchase, Jensen Transformers, Inc. will, free of charge, repair or replace any Jensen OEM transformer or any Jensen transformer contained in an ISOMAX® product that fails due to defective materials or workmanship.

Both limited warranties are subject to the following limitations:

1. Defects that are, in the sole judgment of Jensen, the result of accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, faulty installation, unauthorized repair, modification, or acts of God will not be covered by this warranty.

2. In the absence of proof of date of purchase, the date of manufacture (as determined from lot numbers of internal parts and the records of Jensen Transformers, Inc.) shall be used in its place.

3. There are no express warranties except as listed above.

4. JENSEN TRANSFORMERS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR ARISING OUT OF THE BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. Duration of implied warranties, if any, is limited to 12 months.

International Customers

Please notice that most of our electronic equipment carries a USA warranty, so all international warranty issues must be handled by Cable Solutions. This means that you must return the item to Cable Solutions for all warranty repair or replacement issues. You will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses.

Defective Merchandise

Shipping/handling fees are not refundable and you will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses related to the return. In the case of items with "free shipping", customary shipping/handling fees will be added to your restocking fees.

In order to qualify for the rates shown above, we must receive your return within the first 14 days following the day you receive your order. In cases where the item is returned incomplete, or in less than perfect condition, we will evaluate the restocking fees on a case by case basis.
