This is a new, original and one of a kind, 11X12” painting by Todd Ehle. It’s Abstract Surrealism, my spontaneous style of painting. Nothing is pre-planned, I just let it develop as I go.
The painting is acrylic and acrylic gouache on board and comes in a great, vintage Wormy Chestnut frame. The frame brings the size to approximately 13 3/4x14 3/4. It has a Christie’s sale house tag on the back, which makes me wonder what it held before.
A word about me: My father was a composer of “modern” classical music, and I was immersed in the mid-century genre. This painting represents the type of work I started doing in the early 80s.
