History

The Yashica-D was made in Japan by Yashica Co., Ltd. from 1958 through the early 1970s — one of the longest runs of any Yashica TLR. It arrived during the postwar boom in Japanese twin-lens reflex cameras, built as an affordable answer to the famous German Rolleiflex and Rolleicord.
