Monkey King Wu Kong Long Staff, Poplar w/ Bronze Studs & Brown Paracord - 72\" For Sale

This is a handmade poplar Monkey King long staff/cudgel replica and it is a BEAST. It is gently sanded to allow for grain texture, given a Jacobean wood stain, and has a firmly secured center cord grip of brown paracord. it has also been mildly distressed to give it a lived-in look. As you can see in the photos, the striking ends are reinforced with brass. The staff is crafted from poplar, roughly 72" inches long and 1.25" inch thick. This staff has not been treated with tung oil or penetrating finishes for durability due to the stain. It should be able to stand up to standard light contact training and kata/forms practice. That being said, it is mostly intended for Monkey King/Sun Wu Kong cosplay and/or display/demo purposes. Please keep in mind these are handmade, and there may be minor differences in wood grain but what you receive will be nearly identical to what’s in the photos.
