This is a simple track cleaning car with universal couplings for US (knuckle) and International (Rapido) style couplings.
The car has two large brass wights to prevent derailments (and they look nice)!The brass weighted scrubber uses readily available 5/8" cotton twill of which 10 pieces are supplied, precut into 4" length and ready for use.
The twill is secured with a simple press fit pin and very easy to replace.
We have tested with all sizes of locomotives, with and without traction tires and they all worked well however, If you have a lot of steep inclines we do recommend the more powerful heavier locos.
We recommend "Track & Rail Cleaner Fluid ACT-6006" however any not acetone based cleaning fluids will work just fine.
