The factory box was sealed until just now; I carefully sliced the original tape solely to open the container, inspect, and verify the contents for this listing. The cartridge and stylus have NEVER been mounted, never wired, and have never touched a piece of vinyl. The cartridge body, diamond tip, and cantilever are in absolute mint, flawless condition as they came from the factory. Please Note (Shelf Life & Storage): Because this unit has been safely stored in a climate-controlled residential environment for roughly a decade, the cartridge body itself is perfect. However, please be aware that the internal rubber suspension dampener on the stylus is 5 years old. While it looks completely pristine visually, I have not mounted or audio-tested it to check for any natural aging or stiffening of the rubber suspension component. Because I am keeping it 100% unmounted and unplayed to preserve its true NOS status for the buyer, it is being sold exactly as described.
