An Apollo Saturn 5 J-2 engine helium regulator assembly body. Manufactured by Rocketdyne division of North American Rockwell under NASA contract number NAS 7-101 of aluminum alloy and bearing several of the iconic Rocketdyne red plastic sanitary covers.

The pneumatic system consists of a high pressure helium controlled gas storage tank, a regulator - the pneumatic control package (PCP), to reduce the pressure to a usable level, and electrical solenoid control valves to direct the central gas to the various pneumatically controlled valves.

The included, shown documents illustrate full detail of the manner of construction. Black and white photographs show the regulator mounted on a J-2 engine.
