These turbos were designed by us in 2003 for use on FWD and RWD SR20DET motors in conjunction with Honeywell (owner of Garrett).We wanted a T2 flanged turbo that could make 500HP with an internal wastegate.
The components existed, but not put together.It became known as the JGY BB37R.
At the 2004 PRI Show in Indianapolis, Garrett has a Grand Prix in their booth with 2 of our turbos, and then named them the GT3076R.
