Subject: A localized perspective of Nitra Castle and Cathedral on the rocky hill (Hradná skala) on the left, with the developing lower town spreading across the plains to the right.
Key Features:

The German Legend (Key): The handwritten-style engraved text in the corner explicitly details the major landmarks:
- A: Die Thurnkirche (The Cathedral/Tower Church of St. Emmeram).
- B: Das Schloss und... (The Castle complex).
- C: Die obere Stadt (The Upper Town).
- D: Das Franciscaner [Closter] (The Franciscan Monastery).
PROBABLY: Origin & Medium: This plate is a 17th-century copper-plate engraving published by the German chronicler Christoph Riegel in Frankfurt/Nuremberg in 1687. It was created to document the fortresses and strategic points during the Great Turkish War and the Habsburg campaigns in Upper Hungary.
