Napoleon As A General. By the Late Count Yorck von Wartenburg, edited by Major Walter H. James, Volumes 1 and 2, both in very good condition, no copyright date included in the two book set, the type of cover boards is the same, and although the first volume references maps at the end of volume 2, there are no maps at the end of volume 2 in this set. They appear to have been published near the time of the 1942 companion book: Atlas to Accompany Napoleon As A General. The oversized Atlas is also in very good condition, with no apparent marks or tears in the multiple campaign maps, but it has visible small fraying along the center top binding and center of the front cover. See photos. The Atlas front page states it is the third in a series of Altlases prepared by the US Department of the Army at West Point in 1942. Name of original owner written inside front covers. Shipped via USPS media mail, with shipping insurance paid by the seller, just because these are rare and fascinating books.
