Yokut Mortar Bowl from Merced County, California, Probably Los Banos. The bowl is Fossilized Limestone. It weighs 5 lbs 10.9 ounces as shown on my scale. The bowl measures about 7-1/4" x 7" x 4" tall. The hole is about 2-1/4" deep.This bowl is from my husband's collection. He's had it about 40 years.
Condition:there are a few rub marks on the bowl
