It's gear headismade of cast iron and features helicalgears which allowsit to operatequietly while pumping heavy orthick liquids at upto 10 GPM. This pump is self primingand can lift oil 15 feet verticallyif needed. The motor on this unit runs at 1140 RPM.A typical motor runs at 1800rpm. This difference in runningspeed allows the system to move heavy oils withoutoverloading the motor.
