The DB500 is a pressure-pot abrasive blaster on a two-wheel cart with a push handle, so one person can move it around a job. Abrasive loads through the port on top of the tank, shop air pressurizes the pot, and the mix leaves through the blast hose to the nozzle.It is set up for dustless, or wet, blasting. A water inlet valve on the tank feeds water into the stream, which knocks down most of the airborne dust a dry pot throws and cuts the cleanup that comes with it. A pressure gauge and a lockable box are mounted on the cart, and it ships with the blast hose and air lines shown in the photos.This one is new.
What it\'s used for
Stripping paint, rust and coatings off steel: equipment frames, trailers, tanks and structural steel, and cleaning concrete or masonry. The water feed is what makes it usable where dry blasting would put too much dust into the air, such as near occupied buildings, finished work or other equipment.
