New Vtg Wendoverlane Mary Kober Halloween Assorted Witch Plates Set of 4 Boxed For Sale

This complete, vintage-style Halloween tableware set features a boxed set of 4 assorted square dessert/salad plates, whimsically designed by artist Mary Kober for Wendoverlane.

Measuring approximately 8 x 8 inches square per plate, this highly collectible set captures a retro mid-century modern aesthetic. Two plates in the set feature a different festive variation of Kober's signature blue-faced holiday witch than the other two. The scenes include the witch raising a champagne glass next to a stylized black cat in a party hat, and the other without the cat and the witch holding a martini glass next to her cauldron.

The vibrant marigold-orange centers are framed by alternating festive borders in rich royal blue, decorated with whimsical silhouettes of black cats, flying bats, and swirling wind motifs. The back of each plate features a clean white glaze stamped with the official maker's backstamp: "WENDOVERLANE, Designed by Mary Kober, Microwave & Dishwasher Safe, Made in China."

This collection comes complete in its original matching orange graphic storage box, making it a perfect gift or a standout tablescape addition for retro Halloween entertaining.

The complete set is in excellent vintage condition, appearing virtually unused and carefully preserved. All four ceramic plates are structurally pristine, showing no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or flea bites. The glossy glaze on each piece is bright and highly reflective, completely free of utensil scratches, scuffs, or color fading. The underside backstamps are crisp and fully legible.

The original storage box is included and is in very good structural condition. It retains its vibrant orange coloration and graphic artwork, showing only minimal, minor shelf wear along the corners and edges from storage over the years, with no heavy crushing or major tears.
