Local pickup at the Publix parking lot in KDH! 2003 Vintage Authentic & Rare Retired Aluminum NC. DOT Sign: "WEST" One Sided Sign that measures 12" x 24", Lays fairly flat, non-embossed, has the date " '03 DOT" stamped on the back not visible without putting it in the glare of a light. It has 2 factory bolt holes cut out for mounting that have rust stains but no rust!(see pics for condition) This is not a polished factory "Made for Man Cave" tin sign, this is a NC. DOT sign that was folded in half from it's last storm as it looks like there's a crease in the middle. On the top & bottom there's a tear in the metal that goes to each bolt hole, between the bolt holes it's solid. This is a "Real" "Made in the USA" NC DOT very unique and not often for sale used vintage sign with the extra thick aluminum for life in a hurricane zone, would be a nice addition to any collection!
