Single NOS Bakelite knobs modified to correctly fit Marshall amps.
These knobs were made in West Germany for Scott (the Hifi company) by the same company that made knobs for Marshall. Externally they are identical to the knobs used on the Marshalls in the '60s and '70s. However, these knobs were manufactured with a slightly smaller shaft hole diameter (6mm I believe) and thus do not fit onto the 1/4" diameter shafts of Marshalls. I have precisionally opened the holes properly with special fixturing on a lathe so the knob does not precess (wobble) when it is turned and they look and function spectacularly. Unlike the poor quality knobs Marshall uses now, these have the fine inscribed indicator lines, solid body and set screw to fix onto a 1/4" shaft (see photo).
