“Zoolta Plane” is an original mixed-media work on acrylic paper by artist rek. The piece combines charcoal, acrylic, and crayon to create a stark, psychologically charged portrait that sits between figuration and abstraction.
Rendered in layered grays and muted blues, the figure emerges through rough textures and drawn marks, with a vertical band of yellow cutting through the composition like a signal or interruption. The materials remain visible and intentional, emphasizing process, tension, and presence rather than polish.
This is a small but striking work, intimate in scale yet bold in impact—well suited for collectors drawn to raw, contemporary portraiture and expressive mixed media.
