If you are looking for a pair of Lucas SLR576 driving lamps but want an inexpensive way to get a working set, here they are.We have so many Lucas fog and driving lamps in various condition, we are offering some of our lower quality, but still functional, lamps for sale now.
This pair works fine when plugged in to a 12 volt source (see the pic of them lit up). They are not beautiful. The chrome is faded. The reflectors have some corrosion, although it's not really bad; I would say about 20% of the reflector surface is poor. There is no rust-through on those reflectors. There are no dents on the housings. The glass is intact and the mounting hardware is complete and functional. They are ready to bolt on and plug in!
We also have a great many reproduction and used Lucas 700 and 576 lamps plus other Lucas fog and spot lamps, including FT6, FT9, FT10 Novas, FT14, Silver Lance, Square 8, and others, originals as well as NOS units, priced in accordance with their condition and rarity. Lucas manufactured the 576 lamp from about 1952 through the 1980s, and numerous minor changes were made to the lamps during that time, including minor changes to the font of printing used on the glass, "LUCAS" on some lenses but not all, and either "MADE IN ENGLAND" or "FOREIGN GLASS" on the lenses. The chrome bodies carried a date stamp until about 1965, after which time this was deleted.
