Vintage, undated but mid 20th century gouache watercolor painting signed in the lower right hand corner by the listed artist Milton Marx along with \"A.W.S.\" which is an unknown acronym to me.
Cityscape depicts the city square of Cascais Portugal and feature\'s the city\'s famous statue of Dom Pedro I, King of Portugal along with Portuguese flag on clocktower in the background. Painting is expertly rendered by the listed artist Milton Marx, deploying perfect usage of perspective and color.
Painting is in overall very good condition and has some minor wear like a bit of soiling at the lower end of the painting, below the statue and to the left of the signature more significantly. Margins also have some vague toning wear from where it was formerly covered by a frame. Outer corner edges have some minor rubs.
Painting measures approximately 24 x 20 inches.
