Original vintage 1930s to 1940s black and white snapshot capturing a group of seven young, athletic men taking a break during an outdoor excursion. Several of the men are shirtless, posing candidly while sitting on the ground in a densely wooded area with their gear and hats piled beside them. The true highlight of this piece is the wonderful, descriptive narrative handwritten in pencil on the reverse side, adding a beautiful layer of personal history to the image.
