An attrctive personal letter using the seldom seen Ultima Hora system, which required an additional 2c fee to the 2½¢ letter rate.
Deposited before 2000 in the Ultima Hora box at Santa Apolonia Station, receiving 11 October 1914 LISBOA(Gare) cancel, it caught the night train north, arriving at Celorico da Beira next day.
An incredibly scarce rate and less common destination. Striking usage!
