A boxed Patent No. stamped Denver Colorado Redfield JR-65 scope base that fit the rare H&R Reising 58C and civilian version 65 blow back action 22LR training rifle made from 1944-47. These rifles had the same stock dimensions as a Garand and were used by the U.S. Marine Corp..This base, like the rifle, is about as rare as they come and willrequire gunsmithing of course to mount a scope on one of these rifles. The box is worn but the base is in unmounted condition as shown. If your Reising has been previously drilled and tapped check the hole spacing for a 42 mm rear to middle and a 57 mm middle to front.
