What really separates this platter from ordinary servewareis the shape. Rather than a conventional oval or rectangle, the piece sweepsinto a dramatic asymmetrical paisley / teardrop silhouette, complete with araised center curl and gently undulating rim. It looks terrific sitting emptyon a table and becomes an instant centerpiece when used for entertaining.
