This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs ofPittsburgh and Allegheny from 1889. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. Each has a caption beneath.
There are16 pages of photographs.The page measures 7x5.5inches (18 x 14 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately 5.5 x 4 inches (14 x 10 cm). The string is missing that went through the three holes is missing, so the pages are loose. They are suitable for framing.
Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is dated 1889.
