Here is two vintage hand, marbled covers and of the poetical works of Milton and Marvell. In addition to the hand marbling their cover is also leather and gilded. Pictures show the condition. The flaw is that the front cover of volume one while intact is detached from the front plate and spine.
There is no date of publication anywhere in the front or back of the book. The one front plate shows that the owner signed their name in 1887. This type of leather and marbleize cover is probably earlier but I put in the title 1875 as an estimate of age.
Clean inside and out. spine is good. Minimal surface and Edge wear. See Pics. I’ve got other vintage and first edition books for sale on combined purchases and save on shipping costs.
