  Liner preparation is a really crucial step. Thoroughly clean both surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and moisture, which can weaken adhesion. Make sure both liners are completely dry before proceeding to the next step.

• Do I need to prime the liners before applying the seam tape? Which primer should I use?

  Yes, priming both liners is highly recommended to improve adhesion. Primer compatibility can vary depending on your pond liner material; reach out to the manufacturer of your liner for the best guidance on primer selection.

• What is the recommended overlap width for joining liners? How do I ensure the seam is watertight?

  We recommend at least a 4-inch overlap to ensure a secure and watertight seal. After applying the seam tape and pressing the liners together, use a seam roller to roll firmly across the entire seam to ensure optimal adhesion.

• Should I also use a cover tape over the seam?
