Colonial Candle Wall Box w Drawer
The beautiful antique original that this Fabulous Candle Box was modeled after was found lovingly displayed in an old Maryland estate. Made of solid wood, this majestic box has a lollipop type back plate design with obvious worn hole for convenient wall hanging. This type of wall box hailed from the Colonial era and was originally used to store and protect candles as well as salt and spices. The aged and worn Old Mustard paint is remarkable. This fine hand-crafted wall box is an affordable Early American Antique reproduction that is consistent in both construction and appearance to the original authentic period piece from well over a century ago. The dimensions are 12” h x 6.5" w x 4.5” d.
Each piece reflects our love of gentler days and times passed. It is our hope that these timeless treasures will bring those same memories in all who share them.
