Over time, several of the signatures have naturally become lighter or faded, while others remain considerably stronger and easier to see under normal lighting.The lighter signatures are still present. To document them as accurately as possible, I photographed the helmet under UV/black light. As shown in the photos, the black light makes several of the faded inscriptions substantially easier to see and confirms details that can be difficult to photograph under ordinary room lighting.Please review all photographs carefully, including the UV/black-light images, as they are an important part of the condition description. The helmet is being sold in its current, aged condition with no attempt made to retrace, enhance, restore, or alter the original signatures.AuthenticationThe helmet bears an authentication/identification hologram, which is shown in the photographs. The hologram remains with the helmet and provides provenance/authentication associated with the signed piece.This is a particularly interesting Hall of Fame display piece because of the caliber and era of the players represented. The group spans generations of NFL history and includes legendary names such as Gale Sayers, Paul Hornung, Bob Lilly, Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, Warren Moon and Charley Taylor, among others.A great piece for a serious NFL, Pro Football Hall of Fame, or multi-signed memorabilia collection.Please note: Due to the age of the helmet and varying degrees of signature fading, the photographs should be considered part of the description.
