RARE ANTIQUE 1916 Encyclopedia of Freemasonry Albert Mackey 2 Vol. Set Embossed For Sale

ANTIQUE 1916 Encyclopedia of Freemasonry Albert Mackey 2 Volume Set EmbossedThis beautiful set of books has been cared for well through the years and is made with quality materials. The leather covers are still in good condition, with some areas scuffed, small areas of damage, and one loose piece of leather along the binding and top back cover. (See pictures) The gold lettering is still very visible. The most remarkable aspect of the preservation of these books is the condition of the pages of the books. The pages are still bright and clean, with no signs of foxing or tanning despite its 1916 publication date. The two volumes have 943 pages. There are illustrations throughout the books in black and white, and each volume has a full color illustration plate facing the title page with tissue guards (frontispieces). Volume I has areas where the hinge is weakening, though still intact.
