Excellent condition, antique 1891 (133 years-old) Norwegian, historical family leather-bound Bible (Bibelen eller Den hellige Skrift). Published in Christiania (Oslo) by Det Norske Bibelselskabs Forlag, and originally presented to “Mrs Ellen Sea” by “Hans Sea” in 1894.
The Bible is well cared for and in excellent condition. It is bound in its original leather with gilt spine label and includes hand-annotations of the “Sea” family genealogy including births, baptisms, and deaths. There are two “Mother” bookmarks included in the Bible.
