Hailing from Corpus Christi, Texas, The Liberty Bell recorded some of the most searing, fuzz-laden garage psych tracks of the late 1960s. This release couples the driving, organ-and-fuzz anthem \"Thoughts And Visions\" (marked with the seller/DJ interest (XXX) plug) with the raw, uptempo garage classic \"Look For Tomorrow\" on the flip.

*Original Back Beat promos for this release rarely survive in playable condition—most were hammered by regional Texas radio stations or clubs. This copy is an exceptional archive upgrade: it retains intense original shine, crisp center holes, and clean promo labels.

Formed in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1966, The Liberty Bell were titans of the Gulf Coast 1960s teen-beat and psychedelic movement. Backed by producer Carl Becker and releasing singles on Duke/Peacock’s subsidiary Back Beat Records, the group stood alongside Texas contemporaries like The Moving Sidewalks, The 13th Floor Elevators, and Zakary Thaks. Their output remains top-tier listening for global garage rock collectors and compilation curators.

Label Bio

Back Beat Records was a celebrated subsidiary of Don Robey\'s Houston-based Duke/Peacock empire. While primarily known for releasing powerhouse R&B, soul, and funk, Back Beat occasionally signed and recorded premier regional Texas garage and rock bands. Because of their limited promotional runs for rock releases, original Back Beat promo 45s from bands like The Liberty Bell are high-value collector items today.
