RARE? I couldn't find another one like this in any condition let alone never used new old stock.ThePsychrometer as you can see appears to be in my opinion pristine condition.Even look at the extra sleeves!!The booklet is not in an unused pristine condition, read below.Read through so you know what you are looking at.
This was gotten from an estate of a gentleman that had two of these. One he used a lot and I will assume he took the Chart Booklet out of this one when he either lost or destroyed his first one. As you can see although still in pretty good shape, he put some tape in it that looks like it was done as a preventive measure. The booklet has a copyright of 1933 so I researched that>>>
<<<Taylor formally calculated and copyrighted their definitive "Relative Humidity Tables" in 1933. Because the Model 1322 design remained virtually identical between the 1930s and the 1950s, Taylor simply kept printing the 1933-copyrighted manual and sliding it into the boxes of newly manufactured units includingNovember 1950.>>>
I noticed that the Brass Sleeve had what looked like a pointed dent on one side. Then I saw that the other one had the same exact "dent" It's not a dent, it's a stop for the Psychrometer as it slides in.The ink of $100 dollars is what the people that were running the estate sale wrote on it.
I will wrap the original box in plastic wrap then put the box, into another box with padding all around it for shipping.
Look over the Photos, any questions please ask before buying as with any item(s) please zoom up and notice condition.
Thank you for Looking.
I am downsizing so things will be priced to sell! Will be listing parts, hardware, HVAC, electrical, tools, garage items, man cave, steampunk, old vintage bits and pieces, swap meet stuff.....I will combine shipping. Fastest way and to ensure you get the items is to just buy them. I will see they were bought by the same person and I will refund any overages in shipping, usually the same day if not by the next. You can also send me a message to confirm. Look at my response, I have done this many times and I am not going to ruin my rating for a one time grab of a few shipping dollars.
I use recycled shipping materials when feasible and I reserve the right to switch shippers to enhance service as I have seen as much as 6 days difference in est delivery dates. If this is an issue, you MUST let me know when you buy the item(s) as there is little I can do after they are on their way.REMEMBER >>> YOU CAN ALWAYS MAKE AN OFFER !!!
Thank you for looking.Stocking Code: Boxed PD Cab
