RARE vintage 1981 Mattel BIG JIM 004-Face Changer - MIB sealed For Sale

The is a rare 1981 SIX MASK Mattel Big Jim 004-Face Changer action figure, still sealed in its original packaging. This European market figure features the character Big Jim as Agent 004, a spy with the ability to change faces - a rare and sought-after item for Jim collectors.

This one has been in my collection for 30 years and the box has never been opened. The box is rough with shelf wear and damage prior to my ownership - including some split seams and dried and missing tape, BUT the graphics are bright and the figure has never been removed from the box. I can only assume the figure and accessories are BRAND NEW and PERFECT.

I have included an image (the last photo) of what I believe the set contains.

The six-mask version updated the box layout from the initial 1979, 3-mask version to include a large window displaying the figure. The inner cardboard insert features printed mask preview illustrations along the right side of the inner tray.

According to research, included are:

Six disguise Masks: Included interchangeable face masks or head disguise pieces.

Briefcase/Portfolio: A specialized carrying case with custom interior compartments designed to store the disguise masks and gear.

Clothing & Outerwear: A trench coat (overcoat) with a built-in vinyl belt, a blue crewneck t-shirt or undershirt, a necktie, brown pants, and a casual sports outfit combining a tank top and shorts.

Footwear: A pair of black plastic boots/shoes.

Weaponry: A shoulder holster paired with a small pistol, detailed with a silencer

Paperwork: An international customizable spy passport.

Note: The secret agent 004 line and its spy-themed accessories were primarily released as international exclusives by Mattel in Europe and were not part of the standard US domestic retail assortment.

This is a great figure if you collect mint and out of the box figures.
